Smart Home Consulting Group was founded by Philip Pearson, an alarm industry veteran with over 10 years of experience in varying executive roles. Smart Home Consulting Group provides customized consulting engagements, specializing in Subscriber Acquisition optimization, Retention strategies, Customer Experience design and implementation, and Due Diligence.

Prior to founding his own consulting practice, Phil led the operation at Frontpoint from its founding in 2007 to 2017, a period of time during which Frontpoint grew from scratch to become one of the nation’s 5 largest residential security providers. As a member of the senior leadership team, Phil led the customer care, retention, and inside Sales functions, which placed over 450 full-time employees under his direction. In addition to these core operational duties, Phil also was responsible for local compliance across all fifty states, product development, operational budgeting, and technology and telephony management.
